The transfer fee is visible on the "Start New Transfer" screen under the "View Breakup" option. By default, this screen shows charges applicable on Easy Online Bank Transfer. If you select Debit Card as transfer mode, the applicable charges on Debit Card Transfer will be displayed. You can also check the charges on “Review>” page, which will displayed once you confirm transfer amount, recipient, purpose of transfer and source of funds. This gives you full transparency on all associated charges on multiple steps.
No, there are no service taxes levied on your transactions through Money2India UK. We are committed to transparency in our fee structure, ensuring that there are no hidden charges or unexpected fees.
You can choose between two modes for money transfer on Money2India UK: "Easy Online Bank Transfer" or "Pay by Debit Card." When selecting the debit card option, please ensure that your card is issued by a UK bank, it is registered on your name and it is 3D Secure enabled. This ensures the security and validity of the transaction.
Easy Online Bank Transfer – By selecting Easy Online Bank Transfer as a payment mode, you authorise us to collect money and associated charges (if applicable at time of transfer) from your bank account. You will redirect to third party payment gateway portal which is offered by our service provider Global Payments. After selecting your bank on payment gateway portal, you will be redirected to your UK bank’s internet banking login section or your UK bank’s app login. Please log in and complete the payment. Once you successfully complete the fund transfer, you will redirect to Money2India Website/App and a reference number will be generated and displayed to you along with status of transaction.
Pay by Debit Card - By selecting Debit card as a payment mode, you authorise us to collect money and associated charges (if applicable at time of transfer) using Debit Card issued by UK Bank. You will redirect to third party payment gateway portal which is offered by our service provider Global Payments. Enter your Debit Card Details and click on Pay Now. Once you successfully complete the fund transfer, you will redirect to Money2India Website/App and a reference number will be generated and displayed to you along with status of transaction.
No, credit cards are not allowed to use for transferring money to India via Money2India UK platform. You can only use debit card which is Chip and 3D secure PIN enabled and issued by a UK Bank other than ICICI UK.
You can transfer up to 25,000 GBP per day or up to 250,000 GBP per month (including charges if any). This limit applies to money transferred to both ICICI Bank accounts and non-ICICI bank accounts. You can transfer this aggregate amount in multiple transactions.
When transacting with Money2India UK, you'll receive real-time confirmed exchange rates for all transfers. These rates can be viewed on our website and within our mobile application.
In Debit Card transactions, the confirmed exchange rate displayed to you at the time of transfer. This means that the rate you see when initiating the transaction will be locked in and same rate will be used for the conversion.
Certainly! You have the option to transfer money to a beneficiary who doesn't have an ICICI Bank account in India. For more details, please refer to the section on adding ICICI and non-ICICI beneficiaries.
If you select the purpose as "Gifts" for your money transfer to India, then it's important to note that such transactions are restricted to sending money to only family and friends & not to your own bank account in India.
We prioritize the delivery of funds and endeavour to do so as quickly as possible. The time taken for the money to be credited to the recipient's account may vary depending on the beneficiary's bank. While recipients holding an account with ICICI Bank India will receive funds instantly, and those with non-ICICI bank accounts will receive the funds within 4 hours. In rare circumstances, the process may take longer due to various factors. However, rest assured, your money is safe with us and we are committed to ensuring timely credit of funds into the recipient's account. To track your transfer, visit Money2India UK website/App and click on “Track my transaction” section and enter the 11-digit Track ID, alternately you can log into your Money2India UK account and navigate to "My Transactions" to locate your unique 11-digit Track ID associated with your money transfer request. Once the transfer is initiated, it cannot be edited. Therefore, it's essential to review and finalize the details before confirming the transaction, as changes cannot be made after confirmation.
