Money2India UK FAQs - Transaction Cancellation, Refunds 

When a transaction is rejected, you'll receive an instant email notification to your registered email address, detailing the reason for the rejection. Additionally, an in-app notification will alert you that your transaction has been cancelled.

Rest assured, we'll promptly refund the money to your registered bank account or debit card within 10 working days, after deducting any applicable charges.

If funds are returned to your account due to a technical issue on the Bank's end, we will provide a full refund and bear the currency conversion charges. However, if the issue is attributable to the customer, such as providing incorrect beneficiary details or any other reason, a charge of 2% of the transfer value or GBP 10, whichever is higher, will be levied by the Bank. Additionally, any charges imposed by the beneficiary bank on the reversal request will be borne by the customer. Please refer our Terms and Conditions for more information.

Your debit card payment may fail due to several reasons:

  • Expired or inactive of the debit card.
  • Insufficient funds in your bank account.
  • Debit card not being 3D secured enabled.
  • Mismatch between the name registered on your debit card and your Money2India UK account.
  • Mismatch between the address registered on your debit card bank account and your Money2India UK account. (You can verify this in the “My Profile” section under “Current Address”)

To ensure a successful transfer using the debit card payment mode, please ensure the following:

  • Maintain sufficient balances in your bank account.
  • Use a debit card issued in the UK, which is 3D secured enabled and registered in your name and with same address as you have provided in your Money2India UK account.
