If you are applying for an ICICI Bank UK account for the first time or if you already have a HiSAVE account, please complete and submit the form for 'New Customers' at any of our branches.
What documents do I need to provide?
You will need to provide in original:
- A valid proof of identity
- A valid proof of address
Please note that the original documents would be verified and returned back after taking photocopies. If you're applying for a joint account, we will need this identification from both of you.
What is a valid proof of identity?
Your proof of identity must be issued by a public authority, displaying your name, date of birth, nationality, signature and a photograph of you. Your passport (should be valid atleast six months from the date you apply) and UK full driving licence are two good examples of proof of identity.
If you are staying in the UK on a visa, your passport and visa should be valid for at least six months from the date you apply for a HomeVantage Current Account.
What is a valid proof of address?
Your proof of address must be issued by a recognised authority, bank or utility company (e.g. water, gas, electric or telephone company) and should include your full address. Your proof of address, except in the case of driving license, should not be more than three months old and could be in the form of a utility bill, tax bill, driving license or bank statement.
